2.2 Jesus is the key to relationship with God
(2 Corinthians 5:19, 21, NKJV)
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Today, Jesus is the key to our relationship with God. The Bible says that we can only come to the Father through Jesus, there is no other way. His gift of righteousness enables us to come before God’s presence to fellowship.
(John 14:6, NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Those who try to reach God without Jesus will fail. When we depend on Jesus, and understand all that He has done for us on the cross, we will grow in our relationship with the Father.
