1.12 All things are possible to him who believes

Faith is a powerful force. God is unlimited but we are sometimes limited in faith.

A man asked Jesus to help his demon possessed son. He said to Jesus, “IF YOU CAN DO anything…help us.”

We must understand that God gave Jesus the Spirit without measure. There is no limitation to His ability. Jesus gave an insightful reply showing him where the problem was – “IF YOU CAN BELIEVE, all things are possible to him who believes.”

(Mark 9:22-24)
And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Realizing the problem, the man told Jesus, “Lord I believe; help my unbelief.”

That is the cry of many Christians. We want to belief but we can’t seem to find faith in our hearts. Over the next few lessons, we will share about how to grow in faith. We must desire to grow in faith because, “All things are possible to him who believes.”
