1.5 Testimony - Scientific demonstration of God's healing power

John G. Lake was born in 1870 in Canada, and his family later moved to Michigan, America. He gave up a highly successful career to fulfill God’s higher calling as an apostle to Africa. In his 5 years in Africa, his ministry produced 1,250 preachers, 625 congregations, 100,000 converts and countless miracles.

When he returned to America, he opened healing rooms in Spokane, where over 100,000 healings were confirmed and documented. Spokane became the healthiest city in the world.

John G. Lake was a student of science and had the privilege to attend clinics. At one time he submitted himself to a series of experiments to find out how God healed. He told the professors to bring a man with an inflammation in the bone from the hospital. They then placed some instruments and attached it to the man’s leg leaving enough space for Lake’s hand to get through. After he had put his hands on the man’s shin, he prayed to God from his heart. He called forth the power of God to kill the disease. He prayed for the life of the Spirit to be manifested.

Then the professors said with amazement, “Every cell is responding.” Lake said that when the life of God came on the afflicted area, the blood flowed, the cells responded and the work was done.
