1.1 New Series - THE PROMISE OF PHYSICAL HEALING IN CHRIST

Many Christians are in need of healing but do not know how to receive their healing from God. What is the basis to receive God’s healing? God has given us His promise through this powerful verse:

(Isaiah 53:5, NKJV)
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

It tells us that Jesus not only died to redeem us from our sins. He also died to redeem us from our sicknesses. He bore the stripes inflicted by the whips of the Roman soldiers. He had to suffer in our place physically, in order to pay the price for our healing. Therefore, your healing has been paid for on the cross.

Today, Jesus has demonstrated His commitment with concrete action. You can take Him at His Word by faith. You can pray by faith to receive your healing promise. You can declare, “By His stripes I am healed!” for you and your loved ones.
