1.4 The Holy Spirit gives life to your body

As the temple of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit dwells in you. The Bible calls Him the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2). It also says that the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6). He is the power behind creation, and He is the power behind redemption.

Romans 8:11 says that because the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us, God will give life to our physical bodies through His Spirit. What a privilege. We have the source of Life living in us and supplying God’s Life to our bodies.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

This is the reason why we can experience divine life, divine health and healing. We can pray for the power of the Spirit to be made manifest in our bodies.
