1.8 Faith is dependent on how we see Jesus
On one occasion, Jesus went back to His hometown to preach. Because the people were familiar with Jesus, they saw Him as a carpenter instead of the Son of God. As a result, they were filled with unbelief, and their lack of faith limited Jesus, who could not do many mighty works.
(Matthew 13:54, 58, NKJV)
When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? … Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
Our faith is dependent on how we see Jesus. Today, when we see Him as our Healer, we will have faith to receive healing from Him.
