1.7 Healing is received by faith

The price for our healing was paid by Jesus on the cross (Isaiah 53:5). The way to receive the promise of healing is simply to believe. This is called faith.

On one occasion, a crowd was pressing on Jesus. One woman, who has a flow of blood for 12 year, came from behind Him and touched His garment. The power of God flowed out from Jesus and healed her. Many people were touching Jesus, but she was the only person in the crowd who drew healing power out from Him because she touched Him with faith.

And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

Jesus said to her that her faith has made her well. Likewise, you too can receive your healing from Jesus, when you touch Him with faith.
