1.10 Faith is believing that you have received

After we pray, we may sometimes look at the circumstances, and if we don’t feel any better, we start to doubt. It is like a man who plants a seed in the ground. The next day, he digs it up to see if it is growing. His action destroys the seed. Once we start to consider circumstances above God’s Word, our faith is nullified.

The Bible says that whenever we pray the prayer of faith, we must believe that we have received. It is in the past tense. Only then will the manifestation follow.

(Mark 11:24, Revised Standard Version)
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Some want to see first before they believe. That is not faith, it is walking by sight. Today, if we want the manifestation of healing, we must first believe that we have already received.
