1.15 How to meditate on the Word of God

Reading the Bible feeds our mind, but meditating on God’s Word feeds our spirit and faith. How do we meditate?

The word for meditate in the Hebrew word “hagah” means to “speak” or to “mutter”. When confess God’s Word with our mouth, we will also hear them with our ears.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Rom 10:17). The more we hear God’s promises, it will enter our hearts and we will believe them. Meditation on God’s Word results in faith and life.

Psalm 1 says that the person who meditates on God’s Word day and night is like a tree planted by rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.
