7.14 More testimonies of the leading of the Holy Spirit
Two Sundays ago, I shared in church on “Meditation on the Word of God.” I had planned to talk on something else but the Holy Spirit wanted me to share on this topic. So I made a change on the 11th hour.
After I had shared the message, a lady came forward to share a few words before her baptism. She was full of joy over her water baptism. But she was also full of joy over something else. Her son had received a miraculous healing of a hole in the heart. She asked him to share his testimony – something that had not been planned for.
He has had that condition since young. Recently, the condition appeared to have deteriorated and he was told that he would have to seek medical attention very regularly with constant blood tests.
He decided to stand on God’s promises. He said – like what I had shared in the service, he meditated on the promise of healing from God – and prayed through it. Miraculously the hole just closed up and the doctors were baffled. Even at the point of telling him that there was no hole in his heart, they couldn’t believe it and tested one last time. Again, it confirmed he was well.
Isn’t it wonderful that God not only asked me to share on the topic of meditation on God’s Word but He also sent someone else to share a testimony about healing through meditation on God’s Word? I believe it was the Holy Spirit reinforcing the message to the church. It was well coordinated by the Holy Spirit and we just fell into His plan. It was also His way of confirming in me that it was His message for the day. Praise God!
