8.94 Experience justification instead of condemnation

In the court of heaven, we have been acquitted. Jesus took our place and our condemnation. We have been set free. There is no more condemnation for us as far as our past, present and future sins are concerned. The same sins cannot be punished twice. We have walked out from the court justified. In the eyes of the law, we are righteous. Jesus has given the gift of no condemnation for those who are in Him.

(Rom 8:1, RSV)
There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Even if we should fall, we fall into His abounding grace (Rom 5:20). Prov 24:6 says, “A righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” The man is still a righteous man. Our righteousness does not change because it is dependent on Jesus.

Satan our accuser uses the law as His most potent weapon against the saints. Jesus not only forgave all our sins, He also nailed the law, the source of condemnation and Satan’s weapon onto the cross. In doing that He disarmed Satan, and we should never come under condemnation ever again.

(Col 2:14-15)
…having wiped out the HANDWRITING OF REQUIREMENTS that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having NAILED it TO THE CROSS. Having DISARMED principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Today, God does not allow His children to come under condemnation – not when He has justified us. And Jesus is seated at God’s right hand to uphold our righteousness.

(Rom 8:33-34)
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who CONDEMNS? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

We must understand that condemnation is the root source of many problems – health problems, mental problems, relationship problems, spiritual bondages, etc. God has declared that there is no more condemnation in Christ. We should not condemn ourselves either. Therefore, receive your freedom in Christ. Receive His gift of “no condemnation”.

Since we are no longer condemned, and we are perfectly reconciled to God, we enjoy peace with God. The peace of God will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

(Rom 5:1)
Therefore, having been justified by faith, WE HAVE PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…
