2.24 Testimony: John G. Lake – Delivered from death by the leading of the Spirit

John G. Lake, the Apostle to Africa, shares of an occasion when he heard the Holy Spirit instructing him to pull his car over to the opposite side of the road. It did not make sense as this would put him against the flow of traffic. But he recognized that voice and had learned in most cases to obey.

When he had done so, a large truck came charging from around the curve in the opposite direction. It had gone out of control and was covering the whole road. If he had continued driving, he would have been in the path of that truck, and would have been pushed over the cliff, a 100-foot drop down. He was delivered from death that day through the leading of the Spirit.
