6.8 God has made us accepted in Christ the Beloved
…to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Today, we are accepted by God in Christ the Beloved. At the river Jordan, Jesus heard the affirmative words of His Father, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” That sense of love and acceptance caused Him to overcome the temptations, to fulfill His purpose and to be a conqueror in life.
Today, we are wrapped up in Christ. When God sees us, He sees us in Christ. The Bible says that as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Just as Jesus was God’s Beloved, today we are in the Beloved, and we are accepted in the Beloved.
God sees us as His sons (Rom 8:14). God loves us just as He loved Jesus. He loved us no less that He loves Jesus. For God so loved us, that He even gave His only son for us.
What happens when you live life knowing that you are accepted in the Beloved, and that you are God’s beloved Child?
Like Jesus, you will overcome Satan, you will fulfill your destiny and you will be a conqueror in life. In fact, the Bible says that you are “more than” a conqueror through the love of God.
(Romans 8:37)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
It was Jesus who fought the battle, and today you have received the spoils of victory. You didn’t have to fight. Jesus lives in you and you can enjoy His victory by faith because of the riches of His grace. Therefore, remember that you are His beloved Child and you are more than a conqueror through His love.
