5.34 Epistles - You are an Epistle of Christ, written on your hearts
Many Christians find it such a struggle to do witnessing. They find it hard to share their faith when they have not experienced the reality of Christ in them. The key is to experience more of Christ in you. The Bible says that you are the light of the world (Matt 5:14). It does not say to try to create light for we cannot. The only way that you can be light to the world is when Jesus, the source of light lives in us (John 8:12) and is manifested through us.
When Satan crucified Jesus, he thought that he had won the battle. But on the day of Pentecost, the Spirit of Christ was poured out on 3,000 people. Christ was “mass-produced” in and through the lives of His believers.
Today, Christ is in you and as you have more of Him in you, you will manifest more of His life through you. We can have more of Christ in us through His Spirit – the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus has the Spirit without measure, we can have more of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We live in the dispensation where the Spirit of Christ is the driving force in the life of the Christian.
Paul in the Epistles tells us that we are an EPISTLE OF CHRIST – to be read by all men.
(2 Corinthians 3:2-3, NKJV)
You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and READ BY ALL MEN; clearly you are an EPISTLE OF CHRIST, ministered by us, WRITTEN not with ink but BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of THE HEART.
God doesn’t write on tablets of stone anymore like He did in the Old Covenant. Today, in the New Covenant, He writes in your hearts (Heb 8:10). The Ten Commandments written on stones could not transform the sinner. So Jesus sent His Spirit to transform us from within. He gives us new desires. He gives us empowerment. He causes us to bear fruit if the Spirit – which are the characteristics of Christ. Allow the Holy Spirit to minister the life of Christ in your heart. When Christ is manifested, we are an Epistle of Christ – to be read by all men.
