9.75 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it

Daily Rhema is back. Daily Rhema was disrupted last week as I was traveling and did not have access to the internet.

We are back on the topic of God’s faithfulness towards us. We have shared that we should put our confidence in God’s faithfulness towards us, instead of our faithfulness towards God. We should allow His faithfulness to hold us secure, instead of hanging on to Him with our faithfulness. Let us share another verse on God’s faithfulness.

(1 Cor 1:4-9)
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The verse says:
1) Because of the grace of Christ, we have been enriched in all utterance and knowledge.
2) We come short of no gift
3) Jesus will confirm us to the end. Another version says that Jesus will keep us strong to the end.
4) Jesus will keep us blameless.

You may ask, “How can I be certain that all that God has said will come to pass? Can I be faithful to be strong to the end? Can I be faithful to be blameless to the end?”

The passage tells us the answer. It declares that, “God is faithful…” It tells us that it is through the faithfulness of God that He will bring these things to pass. We are to trust in Him and allow Him to work in us.

You may ask, “I thought that being blameless is dependent on my own faithfulness.” In fact, another verse also confirms that it is God who will preserve us to be blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus.

(1 Thes 5:23-24)
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

How awesome is His faithfulness. We can trust in Him and depend on Him. He who calls us is faithful, who also will do it.
